1. I got an internship. I waited and it came. That's not even the best part, though.
-Best part #1: It's in the Highline School District, which was my #1 choice.
-Best part #2: It's in a secondary school or high school, which is where I wanted to be.
-Best part #3: It's PAID. I'll get paid about 1/3 of what is typical for school psychs.
-Best part #4: It's with my Seattle BFF, Kelly. She got the other position!
How SWEET is that?
2. I got a haircut. It's nothing short of fabulous, but it's not that much of a change. I'm trying to grow it out for Jeanna's wedding. Rick (my stylist) seems to think that I need to straighten it to get it in an up-sweep. That's fine. The only bad thing is that it doesn't look so hot curly. I'm just telling myself that it hasn't quite adjusted to the new cut, yet. (I hope I'm right.) See below for the hot shot.
3. We got a kitten! Actually, Bonnie got a kitten! Her name is Pipa and she's the cutest thing in the whole world. I used to think it was a little weird when people took pictures of their new pets, but NOW I totally understand it. She's like my child. (Scary.) I'm pretty much obsessed with her, even though she can be a tiny terror of a cat. We got her on Memorial Day. She's 7 weeks old and was born on April 12. We practically share a birthday! And she's such a little social kitten, not afraid of anything. Goes right up to Zoe (Adrian's adult cat) and pounces. Look at my little lover below.

Isn't she a baby doll? I love her!That's the news for now. I'm in the middle of finishing a take home final exam (which blows) and a final paper (which also blows, but not as badly). All due on Monday.
This means I'm only a few pages of paper writing away from a Master's Degree! (And a much-needed trip to Europe!!!)
