Oversize Backpacks and Tea Leaves

I was going to be all philosophical today, but then I decided not to be. You'll probably get that another time.

I'm going to Pullman this weekend. It's in Eastern Washington. I'm going with Colleen because two of her kids attend Washington State University (our mortal enemy) or WSU ("wazzu"). It's Mom's weekend there, so I'm a pseudo-mom for the weekend. Ew. I'm too young for that. Nevermind.

My birthday is in 18 days. HOORAY! Oh, don't worry, you'll be getting the infamous list in a few days. Simmer down. (For those of you who don't know, every year, I send out a list - this year it will be posted on here - for what I want for my birthday. Even though most don't actually GET me anything on the list - or anything at all, for that matter - everyone seems to like my vain-ness around this time of year. So I keep sending it out. Strictly a laughing matter, I guess.)

Lastly, I have to reply to some comments:

Flo - I'm working in Seattle this summer. I'll be working one-on-one with children with learning disabilities as a trainer doing educational therapy with them. From what I understand, I'll be doing a mix of cognitive therapy and fitness exercises. It should be a really good time!

Andra - I'm glad you liked my pics! I forget how different the midwest must be at this time of year (adaptation takes place so quickly!) - all cold and wet and brown. Ew. Well, it's beautiful here. Take a trip! :)

Grandma - Hi! I haven't talked to you in a while! Hope all is well at home and with Grandpa! Send him my best!

I'm out.
