But, hell, I should be sleeping. It is so nasty outside today that I want to hole up under my jersey sheets and take a nap.
Instead, I'm doing homework.
I got a lot done yesterday, so I'm hoping the same for today.
I went to a Jewish religious service called a Shabbat this morning. I am in a multicultural class for which we have to engage in a cross-cultural experience with a culture apart from our own. I wanted to attend a mass at a church occupied by a predominantly African American population, but in the respect of time, I couldn't swing it.
Through this class, I am really exploring and challenging my racist behaviors, my prejudices, and my White privilege. I'll elaborate later when I have the time and the desire to type it all out.
