I'm Sick.

Yeah. I'm sick. I'm really frustrated. My head hurts, my throat is unbelievably sore, my behind-the-eyes space hurts, I have my period, my eyes were nearly swollen shut this morning, I'm sneezing like my brother arounds cats...basically, I feel like shit. But don't worry, I've done the very "Kelly" thing to do and unpacked my arsenal of get well items. I took Airborne (packed with Vitamin C) this morning (thanks to Adrian), Ibuprofen just a few minutes ago to relieve my headache, I've been drinking lemon tea all day, I ate chicken noodle soup (good for the throat) with a clementine (Vitamin C) for lunch, watering myself like a fish (get outta there, you damned virus!), cough drops, heating pad (around neck to take away head pain), scarf around my head to relieve the pressure, menthol camphor around my neck and forehead for head cold relief - I think I've got it covered. I even made myself a little area in the living room where I can be monitored by my roomies. But it's not the same as at home where I get royal child treatment. I just hate this sickness! I think it's a combo of a few things - the quarter's end, my massage on Friday (gets those toxins coursing through the blood again), and the cat that's been hanging around our house. I petted him on Saturday night, then made the mistake of touching my eyes. That's when everything collasped and I started to get sick. Damned cat. But I still love him, our little Monkey. Bonnie just told me I look like a casuality of war. I do, with my blood-stained bandage over my head wound paired with the unfortunate inability to see straight. I'm dying, folks, ne'er to be seen again. Apparently, I'm delirious, too.

Anyways, as you can see by the pics below, our kitchen is finally clean. Though Bonnie did have the nerve to tell me that it was filthy when she cleaned the kitchen on Friday night...to which I wanted to reply, "Well, what do you THINK happens when you don't clean up after yourself?"

PS - The peanut butter cookies sitting on the counter are none other than the ones I concocted with my own bare hands...and, like I said, they didn't taste like baking soda! :)
