Barf-O-Rama

I ate too much yesterday. I think I have a serious problem. Working out is going really well, but I've gained back all ten pounds that I lost. I know I've lost inches, but you know how actually losing the WEIGHT seems like it's more rewarding? Yeah. I gotta stop being so preoccupied with weight and food, but how can I in a world like this? Makes me wanna move to a cave in the middle of...Belize, so that I can not ever feel the effects of the media. That reminds me, I totally watched The Triples of Belleville (an animated movie) last night and it's really interesting. Everything is, like, mega-exaggerated and funny. It was good; I liked it.

Tomorrow is the first day of spring quarter. In ten weeks, I'll be finished with my first YEAR of grad school! Ahhhh! Time runs like water. (Who said this? Kel? I think I was with you..do you remember?) I'm getting a bit worried, though, because I accepted that summer job (did I post that?) and I still haven't heard back from her as a sort of confirmation.

Oh, I also forgot to post (or did I? I don't remember.) that there is a UMN alumni group out here (appropriately called the Puget Sound Chapter) who have get togethers every month - one for everyone and one for younger alum. Cool, huh? I didn't realize this, but the U has alumni groups internationally. So anywhere I go, I'll be able to chill with peeps from the U of M. Great for networking, too. And did anyone hear that Sandra Day O'Connor is speaking at the alumni dinner in May? I'm pissed I can't go. I really, really wanted to!

Below is a pic from Friday night's taco and basketball fiesta. It was kickin! Bonnie and I each had, like, four tacos. So good. I was extremely proud of all the toppings we had. (I even made guacamole!)

K, I'm out. Peace in the Middle East (my home region, apparently). Yeah, Ty, what's up with everyone thinking we're from different countries? Secretly, I like it. It's fun. But I haven't gotten Mexican yet. Huh, maybe it's something I should try for.

Hey Koko,
What's this summer job you accepted? Is it Europe?
I'll be in Brussels all this summer, so if you come to Europe, I hope you'll have time to visit me.
