My Birthday is in One Month.

Grandma, I have not been up the Space Needle since being in Seattle (we went up when we came to visit in 1995). It's really expensive (I think it's almost $15) and I can't afford it. Plus, there are so many other beautiful views in this city that cost nothing! Maybe sometime I'll get up there, but not in the near future.

I think I am sick of boys. Even maintaining friendships with them seems like work right now, and I certainly don't want to put the effort in. I am extremely skeptical of men and women being friends, though I do realize there are exceptions. I mistakingly gave this guy at the bar on Friday night my number and he called me and I don't want to have to deal with the "I don't want anything right now - with you, with anyone, so this is not a date, it's just a friends thing" bullshit. Same with Jesse, I just don't want to deal with upholding a friendship. Frankly, I just want time to myself right now. I think that's beyond reasonable. I don't want to feel obligated to anyone. And I don't. (Thank goodness.) Already a few times during this post, I have felt the need to apologize, but I don't want to and I don't think I have to because there really is nothing to be sorry about. Sometimes, I'm too damn accomodating. Oh, and Z messaged me yesterday to see how my spring break is going and to see if I am in Seattle. Too bad, he blew it a few weeks ago and I am not ready to talk to him yet. (If ever.) Whenever I think of boys, I get this twitch that involves the corner of my right lip curling up to form a sort of snarl. It's nasty. Not a good look for me.
