Books, Books, Books.

I'm at Top Pot right now...it's the doughnut place down the street from my apartment. Bonnie and I trucked it down here this afternoon in the friggin pouring rain to use them for their internet, like we do at least 4 times per week, if not everyday. I took a picture of the view from where I'm sitting so you could all see it, but then I realized that I don't have the cord to plug my camera into my computer. Oops. Hopefully, I'll get pics up here soon enough, especially of Zack, so that you all can see what he looks like. (He's really cute.)

Speaking of, I really appreciate all of your comments on my crisis. In fact, as of this morning, I have decided not to view it as a crisis anymore. I have decided to just go with the flow and not do anything that seems unnatural. Niki, you are totally right. I just need to relax. He is totally respecting my need for a slower pace and he is not taking it personally, which is really good. I am being completely honest with him as he is with me, which I think is a great place to start a relationship. Often times, I think too much and it gets me into trouble. So, I'm not going to think anymore...I'm just going to enjoy this and concentrate on school. Overall, I am feeling really good about the situation. Hell, I'm smiling all the time!

Right now, I am drinking mint green tea which fondly reminds me of Espresso Royale in Dinkytown. Awww. Makes me reminiscent of all the times I spent there doing observations for my Comm project last semester. I think I might have to get this tea at least once a week here to keep remembering home.

It's Friday. Veteran's Day. No one does anything in Seattle today because it's considered a holiday. People don't even work. Cool, huh? It's pouring like a banshee right now. This morning, there was actually REAL SUN peaking through my window. It was cool, but I was sleeping, so I didn't get to enjoy it.

Tonight, I'm going out with a good friend of mine from my cohort. Her name is Kelly, too. Her family is in town this weekend and they have offered to take me out to dinner. We're going to this great Mexican restaurant right on the water (not the ocean, on Union Bay by campus); supposedly it has excellent food and terrific margaritas. YES. Can't wait! Then, tomorrow, Zack's parents get into town (they're driving here from Janesville, WI to switch vehicles with him) and we're going out to dinner with them on the pier. I think we're going to a place named Duke's; it's supposed to be really great, too. Comparable to Ivar's, for those of you who know what Ivar's is. For those of you who don't, you suck. Ha, just kidding. Ivar's is this great restaurant on the pier (and now, it's somewhat of a chain) that serves amazing seafood. MMMMM. I love seafood...good thing I'm in Seattle. (And contrary to popular belief, no, I did not chose Seattle because of the naked bike riding that takes place in this city, though it is a nice perk.)

Then, on Sunday, Sarah Kluth (Kollman), a friend that lives in Chicago and known since first grade, is coming into town for some coffee conference. Of course. So I think we're going to spend the day at Pike's and generally just roaming around downtown, which should be a lot of fun. She leaves on Tuesday, so I have to get a good deal of work done before she gets here. Plus, I think I'm going to enlist Zack to take me to Target tomorrow. Oh, did I mention that he had IMPECCABLE taste in shoes? I mean, REALLY, how perfect is this guy for me?

K, I'm out cause I got to get some serious homework done and you're distracting me.

Que sera sera. (What will be will be.)

Missing and loving you all.

Peace from the state, in Bonnie's words, that leaks.
