I know, I am a terrible person for not posting! Ahh, sometimes, my school work takes priority, though. I have a little lull right now, but I should be researching for my papers which are due in the next 3 weeks. I feel like I can't even think about coming home yet...I have so many other things to do!
Lucky for me, it's been relatively warm here the past few days. It hasn't rained all week! We were even privileged enough to get some sun. Nice. Not that I noticed, I have been so damn busy.
Oh, and by the way, it's nice to hear from everyone! Gosh I miss you all! All my commenters (Rabbit, Mom, Raya, Cindy D, Grandma Barb), Becca called me, Ashley Ann called me, Aunt Cindy is reading the blog now...I just feel loved!
Now, you just have to know all about my fun little week. So I have been seeing Zack nonstop for the past almost 2 weeks and I seem to like him more every time I see him. Oh, you guys, he is just great! Though, I do realize at this point that people are seriously getting sick of hearing about him, but I just can't help it. I am still having trouble wrapping my head around the fact that I can be in love with someone after only knowing them for less than 2 weeks, but I guess it can happen. If anyone doesn't believe it, refer them to me.
Anyhow, we have just been chilling and enjoying each others' company for the past week. It's been good. Wednesday night, we had a serious discussion about our relationship and honesty. I just want to be completely honest with him in my feelings and, since I am a natural people pleaser, that is sometimes really difficult for me to do. I explained this to him, as he has not been receiving as much verbal affection from me per my ever-constant state of shock. Rather, I just sit silently when he says "I love you" because I am SCARED! He is too. We are together. The conversation was unsettling for awhile, but we kept the communication lines open and eventually, we reached an understanding.
Oh, as a side note, I was in class on Wednesday morning and I was reaching to throw away some papers into a nearby garbage can when I completely toppled backwards on my chair, then proceeded to fall into a bookshelf and finally, all the contents dumped on me while I sat there, helpless and waiting for someone to assist me in getting up. I am such an idiot. That sure made me feel like a grad student.
Okay, back on track. So, then last night, I worked out for 2.5 hours after class (I know, I pretty much rock...well, part of that was a little sauna time for my aching body, but I am sure paying for that harsh workout with some serious soreness today, think POMS sore) and then I met Zack and his friend Ben at the Husky Pavilion to watch the women's volleyball game against Oregon State. Ben is Zack's colleague; he is a really super cool gay Asian man who is uber into the women's volleyball scene at UW. He's been following them for years. He graduated from UW back in 1990 or something like that, he's, like, 36 year old. We had fun at the game and then went out to a gay bar called R Place in Capitol Hill, the "alternative" district as the natives like to call it, to have some drinks. Now, you must know that Zack gets uncomfortable at gay bars - he's a good-looking guy that has a really nice body, so he ends up experiencing a lot of unwanted attention. He's also a bit shy and likes to just hang back, so the gay scene isn't exactly his cup of tea. Though I have to give him some credit in the fact that he is really open-minded and up for anything; I guess from what they were telling me, Zack's been there a few times. Anyways, we went there and they play the BEST MUSIC EVER, so I was on my best dancing behavior. Especially since we were at a gay club and I didn't really have to worry about gropey hands, though Zack did. Ha. They even had a POLE in the middle of the dance floor. I made sure to make good use of that during the course of the night! It was sooo fun. Well, plus I had a Long Island to spice things up a bit and let me tell you, their drinks are STRONG. And Zack is really into smoking cigars (he has a serious box with a pimpin collection - he does not mess around), so I smoked my first cigar last night...and I actually liked it! It was fun; Zack was teaching me how to do it and we were laughing. Apparently, he also seemed much more relaxed since I was there. Before we went in, he was like, "Don't leave my side." Ha, he's so cute. Oh, and during the night, I also got snatched up by a really cute gay guy that was a dancer. He was great, too. So adorable. And, I got my first gay Seattle kiss. Yay for me!
We went home around midnight since Zack had to work today. Hooray for no class on Fridays! But...I was a little hungover this morning. Worth it, though.
So, I organized my life today and now I'm just at the lib waiting for Zack to pick me up. I worked out also, and when I was on the tready watching a little MTV, this other dude got on the machine right next to me and he smelled SO BAD. Definitely the worst BO I have ever smelled in my whole entire life. EWWWWW. I ran for 15 more minutes, then I couldn't stand it anymore. I was so nauseated after that I wanted to puke. Gross.
Anyhow, Zack and I are going on a date tonight. His idea. We are going out for dinner, then drinks and darts. It's a "d" night for us. I'm excited.
One last thing: Zack doesn't know I have a blog. Should I tell him? That's a stupid question, because I'm going to, but I still want to take a poll. This might be my new little game. A poll for every post. Oh yay.
Miss you all bunches and bunches.
