I'm Inappropriate.

Thanks friends. It's so funny because I feel so damn loved after getting so many comments. It's true. The entirety of my self worth is based on my social acceptance. That's lots of pressure. How do you feel about that? (Oh geez, I already sound like a psychologist. It's innate. I was born with the ability. I shouldn't have to go to grad school. Ha.) No really, thanks for all the comments, I really appreciate them! To those of you who have emailed me instead (totally acceptable as well) - I hope to get back to you very soon! (We're talking next weekend kind of soon.) I have a pretty busy week coming up here and I have to get a lot of work (and play!) done. Ha, just kidding, kind of. I have a midterm to do for Wednesday that I am supposed to be doing right now because I am going out tonight and possibly tomorrow night. I don't think that's the best idea, but I'll get everything done. No worries.

In case you wanted to know, I am still sore from ballet, though my calf doesn't hurt anymore and I have painted my fingernails to cover up the practically fatal gym wound I obtained a few days ago. It was nasty.

Thanks Mom, for the stats on Seattle's rain. It's always nice to hear that we are getting 224% more rain this year than last. Definitely keeps a smile on my face. (Read with sarcasm.) On the bright side, next week (from this Sunday to next Saturday) is supposed to be ALL SUN. Seriously, do me a favor for just one minute and go onto weather.com to check it out. There is NO RAIN in the forecast and the projected temperature is about 50 degrees on average. Must be because Sarah's coming. Or because the Seahawks are in the Superbowl. Something like that. I told you, I'm on the bandwagon!

On a side note, Zack didn't make the semi-pro basketball team he was so pumped about, but whatcha gonna do, right? He needs to figure his life out right now and I am actively choosing not to be a part of that. If you want to know why, then please read my beautiful, most eloquently written YEAR which is explained extensively in yesterday's post.

Right now, I'm sitting in Top Pot and listening to two people speak what sounds like French, though they both have such a thick accent I can't tell if it's really French. Sounds like a mix of French and German, so maybe they are from the middle of Switzerland where both languages are spoken...Susanne, you can confirm that. I actually have no idea if both languages are spoken at the same time. It's true, I'm a idiot. On a serious note, hearing French at any point in time makes me yearn for the country, the people, the customs, and especially, the feelings I have when I'm there. It's amazing and inspiring and endearing all at the same time. Ahh, I really get swept up in the emotion of it. (OH, and I found out that my Ph.D. will transfer overseas so I can live and work there if I want! YES!)

Okay, I really gotta go now because I have some serious work to do (read: an essay on why love is not enough when it comes to parenting children...how friggin exciting is that?) before having fun tonight (read: getting a little tipsy, maybe you'll benefit from the pictures later). Rebecca and Bonnie's friend is having a birthday party and she's inviting everyone she knows. She has also instructed them to bring all the people they know so that everyone can meet everyone else and we are all one big happy family. Well...maybe not a happy family cause I sure do wanna make out with someone tonight. Ha. (I suppose every time I expect it, it doesn't happen, so I actually DON'T want to make out with anyone tonight. There. A little reverse psych goes a long way. At least, I hope so.)

Okay, I'm out. But I'm sure you're going to read tomorrow with the hopes of a dirty little makeout story to read. Am I right? Thought so. ;)
