Take a Risk...

...and see this movie: "Conversations with God." You will not be disappointed, especially if you tend to think critically about religion. It's not what you might expect; in fact, I was pleasantly surprised. I found the film enlightening, hopeful, and extremely moving. If you see it, you'll have to let me know what you think.

Which brings me to my next point: I would love to do a study on people's views of religion and the role that God/Buddha/Allah/Fate plays in their lives. I mean, I'm sure that something of the sort has been done already, but it would be interesting to measure the role that [insert your higher power of choice here] plays in people's lives based on background info, past family history, upbringing, and role of parents. You may understand more of what I mean if you watch the movie. Seriously! It's fascinating and I totally recommend it.

I have so many research ideas that I for sure have to get a Ph.D. now just in case I want to be a researcher somewhere. Speaking of, I turned in my UW doctoral application today. Hooray! I'm not sure if I will continue the program or not, but it's an option and I am all about keeping my options open. So, there you have it.

Well, I have to run some errands before I have to tutor my little Italian 4th grader at 3pm. In the spirit of today, CIAO! :)
